Designed for engineers, by engineers.
VSTSABest grew out of a practical need: a single, trustworthy toolkit where petroleum, aerospace, optical, and electrical engineers could perform critical calculations without juggling multiple apps, spreadsheets, or internet access.
Every calculator is built on verified formulas, with explicit unit handling and clear documentation — so you can rely on the numbers when it is time to present, defend, or re-run your work months later.
A toolkit shaped by real engineering work.
VSTSABest was initially built as an internal tool to standardize pipeline and flow calculations across a distributed team. As more disciplines asked for similar, reliable calculators, it evolved into a compact suite for modern engineering practice.
The first version of VSTSABest focused on AGA3 and AGA8 calculations, built to eliminate copy‑and‑paste errors from spreadsheets in high‑stakes capacity studies.
Requests from aerospace, optical, and electronics teams brought in new calculators for Mach relations, lens stacks, and coil design — all under the same interface.
Offline operation, calculation history, favorites, and export capabilities were refined so field engineers and students could depend on VSTSABest in any environment.
What guides every calculator we ship.
VSTSABest is not a black box. Each calculator exposes its equations, variables, and assumptions, with an emphasis on traceability and teaching value.
