VSTSABest Service Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VSTSABest, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any additional terms referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use VSTSABest on your personal devices, or on devices owned or controlled by your organization, solely for engineering, educational, and internal business purposes.

The license does not permit you to resell, rent, or sublicense VSTSABest, or to operate it as a publicly accessible hosted service. You may, however, incorporate calculation outputs into your own reports, documentation, and teaching materials.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to access the source code, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law. You may not circumvent technical limitations, remove copyright or attribution notices, or use VSTSABest in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

You remain solely responsible for how you apply results obtained from VSTSABest in real‑world projects and for ensuring that all engineering decisions satisfy your organization's safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

4. Calculation Results and No Warranty

VSTSABest uses verified industry‑standard formulas with documented assumptions, but it is ultimately a support tool. It does not replace professional judgment, peer review, or regulatory approval. All results should be cross‑checked against your own design criteria and, where appropriate, independent calculations or simulations.

VSTSABest is provided "as is" and "as available," without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the app will be free from errors, defects, or interruptions.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of VSTSABest.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of VSTSABest shall be limited to the amount you actually paid for your license to the app.

6. Data Storage and Privacy

VSTSABest is designed to operate offline. Calculation inputs, history, and favorites are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers by default. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details on how we handle any optional feedback or diagnostic information you may choose to share with us.

7. Updates and Changes

We may release updates that improve performance, add calculators, or refine existing functionality. Where platform policies allow, updates will be available as part of your one‑time purchase. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above indicates when they were most recently revised.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease using VSTSABest and remove it from your devices. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
